Today is a great day, a day in which a great woman came to the world who is equal to all men. A woman came to the world who is an exemplary human. A woman came to the world who is the entire manifestation of humane identity. So, today is a great day. Today is the day of all women. This day also coincides with the birthday of Imam Khomeini.
This Fatima is the role model of all women of the world, her greatness is not limited to any particular time period or location. As stated by the Prophet of Islam , Fatima is the best woman ever, from the beginning of time, up to its end.
Imam attached a great significance to birth anniversary and martyrdom occasion of Hadrat Zahra.
The holy prophet used to say: Fatima is a part of me, and the light of my eyes, the fruit of my heart, and my soul… and she is Huri (Angel) with Human qualities.
With the birth of hadrat Fatima Zahra, Allah revealed the Chapters of Kauthar, Qadr and Dahr to praise her auspicious birth.
This heavenly lady had several names each being more meaningful than the other; 1) Fatimah 2) Siddiqah 3) Tahirah 4) Mubarakah 5) Zakiyah 6) Radhiyah 7) Mardhiyah 8) Muhaddithah 9) Zahra each of which is a statement of the qualities and blessings of her blessed being.
After holy lady Fatimah marriage with Imam Ali (peace be upon them), She helped her husband in his worldly and religious affairs, and cooperated with him in achieving his exalted mission. Every time I look at Fatima, my worries and sadness would disappear, Imam Ali said about his beloved wife Fatimah(peace be upon them).
Imam Khomeini used to emphasize that holy lady Fatimah (PBUH) has introduced divine sources of dignity for all women and mankind thought the history.
Referring to this, Imam Khomeini said : The history of Islam is witness to the immense respect that the Prophet had for Hazrat Zahra which also powerfully reflects on the importance of women in society. If they are not superior to men, they are definitely not any inferior.
