Seyyed Hassan Khomeini visits presidential office to offer condolences

The grandson of late founder of the Islamic Republic visited office of acting President Mohammad Mokhber to hail services of Martyr Ebrahim Raeisi.

He was received by Mokhber, who served as President Raeisi's first deputy since 2021, has taken over as the acting president for 50 days, in line with the constitutional requirement.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini offered condolences and praised untiring efforts undertaken by the late president in furthering the nation’s objectives over the past years.

In the meeting, Golamhussein Isma’eili, the head of the presidential office was also present who presented his emotions.

Following the tragic death of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and his entourage in a helicopter crash in northwestern Iran, the first vice president has taken charge as the interim president.
