The grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic made remarks on the sidelines of the summit which was held in the Iranian capital Tehran to highlight the plight of the besieged Palestinian territory.
The sumit was attended by hundreds of foreign guests attending 35th passing anniversary of Imam Khomeini.
One of the most significant outcome of al-Aqsa storm was that the issue went even beyond religious and became human, Ayatollah Hassan Khomeini added.
Therefore Gaza is the standard of humanity.
Another result of the operation by the resistance groups was the breaking of the US and especially Israel's hegemony, he noted.
If a nation wills to survive, fate will surely give it a positive answer and the dawn will surely emerge and all shackles and obstacles will surely be broken, Ayatollah Hassan Khomeini stated.
Israel launched the war against Gaza last October in response to Al-Aqsa Storm, a retaliatory operation staged by the Palestinian territory’s resistance movements.
The aggression has killed at least 36,379 Gazans, most of them women, children, and adolescents. Another 82,407 Palestinians have sustained injuries as well.
Egypt and Qatar have been mediating negotiations aimed at conclusion of a ceasefire agreement following one in November, during which Hamas released 105 of the captives that had seized during Al-Aqsa Storm.
In early May, Hamas agreed to another truce proposal enabling cessation of the Israeli aggression and release of the rest of the captives.
