Maulana said in one of his poetic phrases that the "real voices and actions come from Lord, but it is reflected just through the throats and works of people and masses."
Some interpreters said that the great poet meant Lord initiates the actions and the people remain just like workers. They referred to these phrases to prove Maulana as supporter of the doctrine of fatalism and compulsion.
The great Imam said in his notes that several of scholars including Haji Mullah Hadi Sabzvari have paved the wrong way to comprehend the above-mentioned famous phrases. Maulana has great talents and his Mathnavi is considered a great treasure of the Islamic spiritual and mystic lessons and teachings.
Imam said that Maulna did not want to convey the message of compulsion through these verses but on the contrary he was a promoter of the belief of choice. Mankind is to a large extent free to choose their ways.
It is worth-mentioning that great Imam is considered a great philosopher, mystic, poet, interpreter and jurisprudent of the Muslim world. He has given a deep insight and presented a dynamic approach to the Islamic teachings and matters.
His dynamic thought and teachings will continue to promote true understanding of Islam for coming generations over the future centuries.
