The foreigners said that they found Iranian historical sites very interesting and were deeply impressed by Imam’s simple life style.
Mohammad Jawad Rizvi, a senior official from the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works said that a group of foreigners from Slovakia had also visited the site a day earlier.
He also added that at least 85 foreigners from various parts of Iran have visited the site so far this year.
Rizvi also noted that at least 1000 to 1500 people from around Iran visited Imam’s historic residence on daily basis during the summer vacations.
Visitors are usually briefed about the history of the Islamic Revolution.
The tourists were also informed about precious works of Imam Khomeini covering the various fields including jurisprudence, philosophy, poetry and theology. It is noteworthy that several of Imam’s works have been translated into dozens of languages over the past few years. The works are also available in digital library section of this website.
