Imam Khomeini believed that building solidarity among Muslims required sustained cultural and intellectual efforts. Rather than allowing historical disagreements to divide the Muslim community, he encouraged Muslims to focus on their shared beliefs, common interests, and collective responsibilities.

Cultural Problems of the Muslim World and Their Solutions According to Imam Khomeini

The study of Imam Khomeini's thoughts and views about Muslim countries' cultural problems regarding his intellectual, jurisprudential, and political position can better understand the contexts of these problems and their solutions. According to Imam Khomeini, the results indicated that the cultural problems of the Muslim world are rooted in spiritual dependence and self destruction against the West.
