In the history of Islam, for very group or stratum of society, there is a suitable role model who is guiding light for salvation and on the path to perfection.
The role model for women, as declared by Allah and His Prophet is Hazrat Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her).
As rightly stated by the noble Prophet of Islam: "Fatima – the daughter of Islam is the best of all women of the world (Sayyidatu Nesae Al A'lameen), and a role model for all Muslim women.
Imam Khomeini who transformed Iran into the center of genuine Islam, devoted to Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon her), her husband Imam Ali (AS), and the Infallible Imams of her lineage that preserved for humanity the genuine teachings of her Peerless Father, Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon hiim).
The third of the lunar month of Jamadi al Thani marks the departure and martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima al Zahra (SA), the noble daughter of holy prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).
Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Revolution maintained that the infallible holy lady Fatimah Zahra (peace be upon her) had earned grace for all woman and mankind.
This Fatima is the role model of all women of the world, her greatness is not limited to any particular time period or location. As stated by the Prophet of Islam , Fatima is the best woman ever, from the beginning of time, up to its end.
Imam attached a great significance to birth anniversary and martyrdom occasion of Hadrat Zahra.
Imam Khomeini on various historic occasions regarding the way of life of Hazrat Fatima (upon whom be peace) said as following:
We must take this family as our role model, our women should try to emulate their women, and our men their men
According to Islamic traditions narrated by the honorable prophet of Islam and infallible Imams, Fatima is the role-model of all women of the world and she is the best woman ever, from the beginning of time, up to its end.
Her greatness is not limited to any particular time period or location.
"Women are the source of all blessings."
It is worthy to mention that the Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini granted women their real status in the society and provided ground for their participation in political, cultural and social arenas.
