Anniversary ceremony marking Imam's passing will be held on June 3rd with leader's speech: Dr. Ansari

Dr. Mohammad Ali Ansari says the June 3rd ceremony which marks anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s passing will be held with a speech by the leader of Islamic Revolution.

Ansari, former head of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works, made remarks during a meeting with a committee assigned with organizing programs for the upcoming event.  


 The slogan of this year's commemoration of Imam Khomeini ceremony is that Imam’s dynamic thought and ideals brings bout hope, power and pride for devotees and faithful people. 


 This ceremony, which is scheduled to begin at 8 AM on 3rd of June at Imam Khomeini’s holy mausoleum, will  continue with remarks by prominent speakers and ultimately a speech by the leader.   


 In the run up to the ceremony, mourning gatherings will be addressed by narrators and speakers, including high-ranking officials. President Pezhakian will also deliver a speech to crowds commemorating the Imam’s passing.


 Each year, thousands of people from across Iran and different parts of the world descend on the holy shrine to attend the anniversary ceremony.
